Starch Ether
Hydroxypropyl starch ether
Starch Ether(Hydroxypropyl starch ether)
Starch ether or Hydroxypropyl starch ether is a white, finely powdered substance obtained by modifying and extensively etherifying natural plant materials, followed by spray drying. Michem Starch ether offer various advantages, including increased solubility, improved stability, enhanced thickening properties. Combining starch ether with methyl cellulose ether in the building dry mix mortars exhibits thickening effects and enhances internal structure, resulting in improved crack resistance, sag resistance, and workability. By incorporating Michem HPS, the required amount of methyl cellulose ether can be significantly reduced.
